We began reparing fast-craft in 1992 when the Stena Lynx arrived at the port of Holyhead, then subsequently the Lynx II. We presently carry out relevant repairs to HSS Explorer and Lynx craft on this route.
Since then, we have subcontracted to all major national ind international shipyards, carring out various repairs and modifications. From construction of T-Foil foundations, hull repairs, inserts and fabricating new stern ramps and bow sections.
Having coded welder's to EX287/ISO 9606 on aluminium, cunifer and carbon steel and having dual Germanshier LLoyd and Det Norske Veritas certification has allowed us to work on many vessels around the globe. To date we have worked in Spain, Sweden, Mauritius, Japan and Venezuela.

Stena Line
HSS Explorer Bow Section
A £95,000 contract was awarded in november 2005.
All aluminium extruded planking and plates were cut and initial pre-assembly was done in-house. Transportation of these welded section's to the Harland & Wolff shipyard in Belfast was orginised to coincide with the dry-docking of the HSS Explorer.
A brief 14 day window was allowed for both the removal of all exisitng damaged sections from the vessel and to fully install the new bow section. This was compleated by the eighth day which allowed a further six days to seal all joints and final painting.
