One of the main areas of the business is the design and fabrication of structural steelwork.
With a fully equipped workshop (Overhead Gantry Crane, Pressbrake, Guillotine and Pipe Benders, etc) we have the flexibility to fabricate whatever our customers may require. From small bespoke items to large complex steel structures. Recent investment in Solidworks and Strucad 3D CAD systems now allow us to fully design/fine-tune any project and produce full fabrication drawings.
Below are a few of our recent projects:-

Cefni Bridge (2010)
Working in partnership with Dawnus Construction Ltd, we recently compleated the construction of a replacement
road bridge on behalf of Anglesey County Council.
Spanning over 17m long and 6m wide, it is a fairly large structure therefore in the first instance, we quickly
modeled the bridge in Strucad and then produced rendered drawings for approval by the client's. This allowed
them to visualise the bridge prior to any steelwork being cut. Various design changes to handrailing, etc
could be quickly incorporated saving both time and money.

Once the final set of fabrication drawing's were
approved we commenced fabrication in late 2009.
A trial erection in-house was performed to ensure that
no problem's could arise on-site and once fabrication
was compleated the steelwork received both a
galvanised and painted finish.
Delivery to site in January 2010 - on schedule.
Celtic Gateway Project : Holyhead
Recent investment at the town of Holyhead
has seen many prestigious projects being
implemented to rejuvinate this town as it is
one of the main routes to/from Ireland.
We have been fortunate to carry out
many contract's including the fabrication of a
new walkway and stairs.
Although reletivly simple in design, the new
walkway had to tie-in with the prestigious
"Celtic Gateway Bridge" therefore accuracy
was a critical factor.
Additional features included ornate laser-
profiled infill panels and "hidded" lighting
(all cables were located inside the handrailing.

Railway Footbridge (Prestatyn)
Fabricated in our premesis in 2009, the 30m span x 4m wide bridge was a fully welded structure. Logistical problems had to be overcome to transport the brisge from our workshop to Mersey Coating's in Widnes where painting would take place.
The bridge was subdequently transported to its final position spanning the main railway line at Prestatyn, north Wales.

Wylfa Power Station
(Gas Circulation Turbine Shaft Enclosures)
In 2003 we were awarded the contract for eight LTSR Enclosures. Approximatley 160t of steelwork was utilised in fabricating these structures which were both complex and dimensionally critical as installation would be inside a working Nuclear power station. Designed to withstand severe seismic activity and withstand any falling masonary or steelwork they are intended to protect the main turbine shafts. Our success in incorporating numerous design changes as well as achiving all deadlines ahead of schedule proved advantagous in tendering for further work within the Nuclear Industry.
